Flamborough Lighthouse Visitor Centre
A lighthouse was first built on the Flamborough Headland in 1669 but was never lit. The current lighthouse was built in 1806 and acts as a waypoint for deep sea vessels and coastal traffic as well as marking the Flamborough Headland for vessels heading for the ports of Scarborough and Bridlington.

Bayle Museum
Bayle Gate is a Grade I listed Building and scheduled Ancient Monument housing the Bayle Museum. The Lords Feoffees still use the Bayle Gate Courtroom as a meeting room. The Bayle Museum’s collection is dedicated to the history of the town and local area.
Filey Museum
Tucked away in the old part of town, the museum was originally two cottages, some of the oldest donestic buildings in Filey. Open Easter to October.
Withernsea Lighthouse Museum
Climb to the top of the Lighthouse for spectacular views. Step back in time for a look at local, RNLI and Coastguard history, with exhibits charting Withernsea’s wartime past and more.
Hornsea Museum
Something for all the family. 18th century farmhouse, outbuildings and garden with play area, 18th century barn, Swallow cottage and lot sof hornsea pottery.
Bridlington Harbour Heritage Museum
The main exhibit is the sailing coble 'Three Brothers' built in 1912 which is moored in the harbour. The museum includes photographs, harbour history models, diorama of fishing techniques, video presentation and art gallery.
Scarborough Fair Collection
The Scarborough Fair Collection hosts a magnificent working collection of Vintage Cars, Steam Engines, Vintage Fairground Rides and Mechanical Organs topped off with a ‘Mighty’ Wurlitzer Organ in our spacious ballroom.
Robin's Hood Bay and Fylingdales Museum
Robin Hood's Bay and Fylingdales Museum, is situated in the old Coroner's Room and Mortuary. This small museum in the heart of the village houses fascinating collections and displays of local interest.
Outdoor Spaces Yorkshire Coast
Danes Dyke Beach and Nature Reserve
Dane's Dyke beach site to the North of Bridlington, it is a stony beach with limestone cliffs. The beach is accessed via the Danes Dyke Nature Reserve, the path is quite steep.
Flamborough North Landing Beach
To the north of Flamborough HEad, nestled between the towering white cliffs is North Landing. A sandy beach with white pebbles and plenty of rock pools to explore.
Fraisthorpe Beach
A long sandy beach which is popular with wind and kite surfers, due to the wind and shallow waters. The beach has pill boxes and anti tank defences from WW II.
Thornwick Bay
Situated to the north of Flamborough, Thornwick Bay is a picturesque bay with high chalk cliffs. Access is via a steep sometimes muddy path and steps.
Bridlington North Bay
A wide sandy beach running North from Bridlington Harbour. There are beach chalets to hire, the promenade runs alongside if you fancy a walk or ride on the land train.
Spurn Nature Reserve
Spurn Point is Yorkshire's very own Lands End - an iconic and constantly moving peninsula which curves between the North Sea and the Humber Estuary. At over three miles long but as little as 50 metres wide, this landscape is unique and ever-changing.
Withernsea Beach
A sandy beach with low promenade runnign alomgside. There are also ornamental gardens to site and enjoy the sea views.
