Bondvillage Model Village is a delightful place to visit. Situated close to the beach at Sewerby, Bridlington Bondville will delight visitors of all ages.
The village has over 200 intricate buildings ranging from castles and abbeys to a nursing home and train station. Each scene is filled with local residents going about their days in different scenes. Including scouts on a camp, weddings, the village cricket team are engaged in a game in the centre of the village and even some youths spraying graffiti. It was hot day when we visited so lots of the residents were enjoying the swimming pool.
There is a one way path around the models, you can go around as many times as you like during your visit. There is a regularly updated quiz to complete whilst you wander around. The quiz is great for all ages and makes you look in more details at the antics of the residents and the humorous street names.
The Garden Tea Room offers hot and cold drinks, breakfast and lunch options.
Bondville Model Village is fully accessible for wheelchairs, pushchairs, and small mobility scooters. There are no steps around the village, and the pathway is concrete. There are benches situated through the village for visitors to take a moment and have a short break from exploring.
Dogs on short leads are welcome in the model village.
