Posted on 19th June 2026

If you are looking for the ultimate, action-packed summer day out in Yorkshire, York Maze is an absolute must-visit. Covering a massive 15 acres (the equivalent of eight football pitches), it is officially the largest maize maze in Europe and a multi-award-winning family favorite. Every single year, a brand-new, jaw-dropping design is carved into the towering corn crop. For the 2026 summer season, York Maze is back with an incredibly special theme, alongside more than 20 fantastic rides, shows, and attractions that promise an unforgettable full day of family fun.

What To Expect

The 2026 Theme: Sir David Attenborough’s 100th Birthday 🌍

This summer, York Maze is paying a giant tribute to a true national treasure! To celebrate the legendary broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough turning 100, the 2026 giant maze design features a massive image of Sir David himself and the iconic animals from his nature programmes.

Beyon The Giant Maze

York Maze is so much more than just a corn field; it is a full-scale farm theme park. Your admission ticket grants you access to an amazing line-up of more than 20 activities including:

  • The Crowmania Tractor Ride: A chaotic, hilarious, and theatrical trailer ride where you meet crazy characters (be prepared, you might get splashed!).
  • The House of Cornfusion: A mind-bending walk-through attraction packed with optical illusions, gravity-defying rooms, and mirrors.
  • High-Energy Play: Burn off steam on the massive Volcorno climbing zone, race down the Corn Snake Tower slides, or bounce on the giant jumping pillows. Play in the giant COBweb climbing zone or try your traversing skills on the CORNwall.
  • Even More Mazes!: It's actually York Mazes, yes the iconic giant corn maze, but also The Jurassic maze of dinosaurs, the Maze of Illusions, Mineshaft Maze and a beautiful wildflower maze.
  • AND.. Daily shows, crazy golf, quad bikes, remote corntrol boats and more.
