The Leeds Scare Trails Pumpkin Trail returns to Golden Acre Park in Bramhope for Halloween weekend, transforming 137 acres of parkland and woods into a free, family-friendly autumn trail.

Organized by community volunteers from the Leeds Scare Trails team, the daytime event features over 200 carved pumpkin displays lining park paths alongside interactive games, activity sheets, and charity fundraising.

The 2026 Pumpkin Trail runs during the day on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November 2026 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Entry to the trail is completely free (with optional £1 donations welcomed to support local Yorkshire charities and community groups).

• 200+ Carved Pumpkin Display: Follow the marked route through the park's woodland paths, lined with uniquely carved and decorated pumpkins.
• Interactive Family Games & Quizzes: Activity stations placed along the trail featuring fun tasks and Halloween puzzle sheets for children.
• Prize Competitions: Complete the trail activities to enter the event's prize draw.
• Charity Fundraising Stalls: 100% of proceeds from donations, stalls, and games benefit local charities and causes.
• Golden Acre Park Café & Lake Walks: Enjoy hot food, hot chocolate, and lakeside walks before or after completing the trail.

Looking for Nighttime Thrills? The Frightmare Trail 🧟‍♂️🕸️

Note that the daytime Pumpkin Trail is purely family-friendly with no live scares or jump scenes. However, for those seeking a spooky evening experience, the separate Frightmare Trail takes place the week before on Saturday 24th October 2026 from 6:00pm. Featuring live actors, sound, and lighting effects across the park after dark, the Frightmare Trail is a ticketed event recommended for ages 13 and above.
