The Forgotten Corner
Strictly Adult-Only (16+) Halloween Horror Labyrinth at The Forbidden Corner.
Posted on 6th August 2026
By day, The Forbidden Corner in Coverdale is famed as 'The Strangest Place in the World'βa whimsical labyrinth of subterranean tunnels, follies, and surprising fountains. But as darkness falls around All Hallows' Eve, a far darker reality awakens. The Forgotten Corner is an after-hours, strictly adult-only (16+) horror experience that transforms the 4-acre estate into a living nightmare.
Running on select October nights (16, 17, 23, 24, 30, and 31 October 2026), this event drops the daylight whimsy in favour of mounting psychological dread, unsettling lighting, immersive soundscapes, and relentless live scare actors.
What to Expect: A Continuous Scare Labyrinth ππ©Έ
Unlike conventional horror attractions that rely on separate, isolated scare mazes with long queues in between, The Forgotten Corner turns the entire four-acre garden into one continuous, seamless scare track:
- Continuous Terror: Once you cross the threshold, the entire site becomes the nightmare. You navigate the dark, twisting paths, crypts, and underground chambers with no safe zones until you reach the exit.
- Live Actors & Sinister Entities: Sinister characters, malevolent entities, and twisted residents haunt the shadows, taking full advantage of the garden's disorienting stone architecture and narrow passageways.
- Distorted Sights & Sounds: Twisted lighting setups, dense fog, and immersive audio distort familiar landmarks into unsettling, unrecognizable dead ends.
- The White Goose Refuge: If you survive the terrifying trek through the grounds, seek shelter at The White Goose bar & food area (open from 5 PM) serving hot stone-baked pizzas, soup, hot dogs, and a fully stocked bar to calm your frayed nerves.
