Because nothing says "autumn fun" like a French mortician chasing you through the fog.

Days Out Yorkshire's Take
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"We visited Doncaster Fear Factory in 2025 for press night and loved it, but returning in 2026—it's even better! The new Mortician maze is a spine-chilling assault on the senses, and the Dugham Cemetery scarezone adds so much to the overall attraction and atmosphere. What makes DFF stand out is that it doesn't just have themes for its attractions and mazes—it builds entire immersive stories where visitors get to become characters inside them. A massive 5-star thumbs up from us—we absolutely love it!"

For seven years, the Operator kept one door locked. In 2026, he finally opens it. The maze known only by its classified file, Project: Dead on Arrival, has been unsealed as The Mortician—the headline new nightmare for South Yorkshire's premier extreme scream park.

The New Nightmare: Enter The Mortician 🩺☠️

A new story for the 2026 season draws you into a dark, cinematic narrative: Dr. Pierre Dubois, a provincial French mortician, fled to England alongside his cold-smiling wife, Florence Didier, following illicit medical practices involving "lifeless" bodies that were not actually dead. Settled secretly into the Yorkshire fog, Dubois has quietly set up shop again at Thornhurst Manor.

⚠️ What Lies Inside The Mortician:
  • The Atmosphere of the Slab: Sudden, sharp temperature drops and lighting shifts designed to mimic a damp, derelict morgue.
  • Immersive Sound Design: Cranked high to heighten disorientation and psychological tension.
  • Live Actors: Skilled performers who know the layout far better than you do, lurking in unexpected places.
  • Connected Containment Breaches: The nightmare leaks directly out of the clinic into the new, Dugham Cemetry, can you escape the undertakers

The Evening Lineup: Multi-Maze Nightmare 🎪💀

Alongside The Mortician, experience the core lineup of immersive indoor mazes:

  • sHELLton Motel: A deeply unsettling check-in experience filled with branching pathways, hidden doors, and sudden claustrophobic encounters as you attempt to evade a resident killer.
  • Quinlens & Co: A grim, historically detailed descent into a Victorian plague era. Navigate rat-infested bakeries and dripping sewer lines while being hunted by aggressive plague doctors.
  • Friargate Foundry: A dark industrial labyrinth featuring heavy machinery noise, blinding strobes, disorienting layouts, and a notorious dental section.
  • Diabolus - Visum Mortis: A pitch-black maze stripped of elaborate props that forces your group to guide themselves through the dark using a single physical rope, leaving you completely vulnerable to grabs from the shadows.

The Woodland Scare Zones 🌲👻

The horror spills out of the indoor mazes and into the dark outdoor acreage of Thornhurst Manor across three interconnected free-roaming zones:

  • Uncle Donks: You'll never feel the same about clowns and the circus again
  • Dugham Cemetery Scarezone: A spine-chilling graveyard environment overflowing with eerie atmospheric effects, fog, and lurking spirits.
  • The Gatekeepers: New for 2026 - the Gatekeepers grant you access in and maybe back OUT of the Doncaster Fear Factory, if you dare to pass.
