At the Santa Claus Showtime, children will meet Mrs Claus, the Elves and Santa himself, during a magical half-hour packed with songs and festive fun. Post-show, families will be invited to venture on a delightful hunt around Trinity Market, seeking festive clues to unravel a puzzle and earn some sweet rewards!

There are 10 life-size Nutcrackers dotted around York, and each one is named. Find all 10 and make a note of their names for a chance to win a £500 York Gift Card or 1 of 5 weekly Visit York hampers! Pick up a map and competition entry form from the Visitor Information Centre.
Get ready to test your Christmas music knowledge, a festive trail is coming to Skipton and there are prizes up for grabs. This free interactive activity invites participants to jingle all the way along the trail, stopping at locations where they will be met with lyrics to famous festive songs, but some of the words are missing!

The Saltaire Living Advent Calendar has been a feature of our village since 2006. This year, 56 windows will open in the run up to Christmas, with 15 businesses and community buildings illuminated from 1st December, then at least one new window being ‘opened’ each evening until 24th December. Windows are illuminated from 4pm – 10.30pm each evening, and all remain lit until the 1st of January.
