‘12 Days of Christmas’ was always a favourite Christmas trail at Bolton Abbey and this year it is returning with a festive bang!
As you enjoy a walk through Strid Wood, clues connected to the popular ‘12 Days of Christmas’ carol will help you to solve the festive mystery on the trail sheet.
21st November to 28th December 2024
Enjoy a magical adventure at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, discovering spectacular light displays along your way. See iconic features such as Streamside, the Queen Mother’s Lake, Winter Walk, Doric Columns and Kitchen Garden glow with dazzling colours.
1st December 2024 to 1st January 2025
56 windows will open in the run up to Christmas, with businesses and community buildings illuminated from 1st December, then at least one new window being ‘opened’ each evening until 24th December. Windows are illuminated from 4pm – 10.30pm each evening, and all remain lit until the 1st of January.
16th November 2024 to 12th January 2025
Pick up a festive booklet from Danby Lodge or Sutton Bank National Park Centre and follow the festive clues around the grounds to complete the trail. Why not head inside afterwards for a hot chocolate treat to warm you up!
1st to 15th December 2024
Follow the clues and the map to find the snowmen hidden around town for a chance to win some AMAZING prizes!!
Collect your maps from the Town hall from December 1st and submit your answers by Sunday 15th December.
