Join NYMR at Pickering Station, where the beloved Paddington™ will be making special appearances throughout the day. Enjoy a fun-filled family day out at the NYMR, with heritage steam and diesel trains, beautiful countryside views, and, of course, a very special visitor.
A Grand Day Out at National Science and Media Museum

A Grand Day Out is a special partnership with National Science and Media Museum and animation studio Aardman. Get hands-on with model-making workshops, enjoy screenings of Wallace & Gromit and much more.
Gruffalo and Zog at Whistlestop Valley

Gruffalo & Zog! will be making appearances at selected times throughout the day. There will be steam train rides, family fun, activities and lots more.
Bluey and Bingo at Whistlestop Valley

Appearances from Bluey and Bingo throughout the day, plus all the usual fun of Whitlestop Valley. Steam trains, jumping pillow, playgrounds, mini-golf and famly friendly activities.

After a gap of more than 12 parsecs, Stormtroopers in full uniform will again be patrolling the grounds and riding the trains of the Middleton Railway – a tiny outpost on earth of the Galactic Empire.
