Brymor have been making real dairy ice cream for over 30 years with milk supplied from their Yorkhire Dales grass fed cows and locally sourced quality ingredients. The Brymor Ice Cream Parlour is located at High Jervaulx Farm in the rolling hills of lower Wensleydale, it's a great spot to stop off after a day in the Dales but it's also a great day out in it's own right and here's the reasons why:
Ice-Cream
Over 25 different ice-cream flavours, available in a variety of cones and tubs. Be prepared to be make a difficult decision as you ponder whether to stay classic with chocolate, strawberry or mint choc chip. Or be more exotic with black cherry whim wham, praline pecan delight or Wensleydae and Ginger Cheesecake.
Play Areas
There's a great children's outdoor play area with a huge wooden climbing frame with its tyre swings, rope bridge, climbing wall, and slide. A covered play area with a sand pit, soft play and ball pit area for little guests.
Meet The Animals
Visit our farmyard and say hello to the cows, who provide the delicious milk to make the ice-creams, and meet the bunnies and Chalkie the Shetland pony.
Dog Exercise Field
Furry Friends to entertain, Brymor has a secure dog exercise field with agility play equipment. Plenty of bowls of water to rehydrate and even doggy ice-cream.
Jervaulx Abbey Walk
A brand new footpath has been created from the ice cream parlour to Jervaulx Abbey, so you easily walk their without having to walk down the road. It's couple a minutes walk away, have fun and explore.
The Parlour
The parlour has a breakfast and lunch menu and a wide range of hot and cold drinks, if you'd like a little bit more substantial than ice-cream. Plenty of space to sit inside and out.
