Bridlington North Bay
A wide sandy beach running North from Bridlington Harbour. There are beach chalets to hire, the promenade runs alongside if you fancy a walk or ride on the land train.
Thornwick Bay
Situated to the north of Flamborough, Thornwick Bay is a picturesque bay with high chalk cliffs. Access is via a steep sometimes muddy path and steps.
Fraisthorpe Beach
A long sandy beach which is popular with wind and kite surfers, due to the wind and shallow waters. The beach has pill boxes and anti tank defences from WW II.
Flamborough North Landing Beach
To the north of Flamborough HEad, nestled between the towering white cliffs is North Landing. A sandy beach with white pebbles and plenty of rock pools to explore.
Danes Dyke Beach and Nature Reserve
Dane's Dyke beach site to the North of Bridlington, it is a stony beach with limestone cliffs. The beach is accessed via the Danes Dyke Nature Reserve, the path is quite steep.
Withernsea Beach
A sandy beach with low promenade runnign alomgside. There are also ornamental gardens to site and enjoy the sea views.
Hornsea Beach
A sand and shingle beach with promenade walk. The beach is popular with families and for watersports activities.
Filey Beach
Filey has a sandy beach which stretches for 5 miles along the coastline. The tradional seaside town is to the northern end, and a promenade runs alongside with a sculpture trail.
Scarborough North Bay
The quieter and less developed of Scarborough's bay. North Bay has a wide sandy beach, the bay is popular with families, rock pooling and for surfers.
Cayton Bay
A wide sandy bay situated between Scarborough and Filey. The beach is popular with families, watersports enthusiasts and bird watchers. Access is very a path and steps.
Scarborough South Bay
A wide sandy beach with a traditional seaside feel. Close to the town centre the beach is next to amusements, the harbour and ice-cream parlours.
Robin Hoods Bay Beach
A sandy beach with steep cliffs and sweeping views. Rumoured to have been used for smuggling the bay is now a popular fossil hunting spot.
Boggle Hole
Boggle Hole is a secret and sandy cove around one mile south of Whitby. Surrounded by suspicious tales of folklore and smuggling the bay is great for fossil hunting..
Whitby Beach
A wide sandy beach tot he north of town. There are beach huts and cliff lift.
Saltwick Bay
To the south of Whitby, Saltwick is a secluded sandy bay with rockpools and fossils to hunt for. At los tide two shipwrecks are visible.
