Mount Grace Priory is a Carthusian Monastery, a manor house and gardens located near Northallerton in North Yorkshire.

Mount Grace Priory is one of the best preserved Carthusian Monastery's in England, a reconstructed monks cell provides a fascinating insight into the lives of the original residents of the Priory.

Rooms of the Manor House have been restored to the Art and Crafts style with wallpaper from William Morris. Original medieval and 17th Century features have also been fully restored.

The grounds and gardens extend to 13 acres, and have also been restored to an arts and crafts style with terraces, meadows, traditional orchard and lakes.

The Orchard Cafe on site offers snacks, light refreshments, sweet treats and drinks, the orchard next to the cafe has several picnic tables to enjoy your delights.

Dogs on short leads are welcome in the grounds. Please note, dogs are not permitted in the house, café interior or reconstructed monk's cell.
