Pop-up parties are set to come to Valley Gardens in Harrogate, Knaresborough Castle grounds and Ripon Spa Gardens this summer for the whole family to enjoy. The fun-filled events are free and will be for a chance for you to enjoy a mix of magicians, juggling and circus shows, and a character mini disco.

The Woodland Wednesdays volunteers will be at Golden Acre Park on the 2nd and 16th August with the aim of removing small saplings from the arboretum 🌱 By removing these self-seeded young trees, we will open up the spaces between the specimen trees – giving them room to flourish and for you to admire them!

The BrickLive trail returns with the theme of Fantasy Kingdom. Brought to you by Bradford Business Improvement District (BID), 15 large installations of mystical and fantasy figures including unicorns, dragons, and warriors will be placed around the city centre for visitors to find.

Dino Day will take place on Friday 4th August at Queen Victoria Square. The event will be packed full of activities and exhibits. Visitors will have the chance to get up close and personal with a giant T-Rex, velociraptor, spinosaurus, baby dinosaurs and comedy cavemen in their cave kart. FREE

A day of Medieval activities at the Sutton Bank Visitor Centre. There will be displays and information, friendly Anglo-Saxons to talk to, and children’s crafts. These include shield making, colouring and lettering, runes, poetry and storytelling.
