Bridlingtons newest trail, The Royal Jubilee Seacrow trail! Celebrating 70 years of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. To celebrate we will be holding a Seacrow Jubilee and yarn bombing trail from May 30th – June 11th. This year the Seacrow trail will have the theme of 'Anything Royal'.

As part of a town-wide celebration of transport, the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway will be running a double steam service on Thursday 2nd June & Friday 3rd June. The town of Keighley will be a buzz celebrating with a whole host of transport-related events!

Jubilee Weekend in Leeds

On 2nd June 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate their Platinum Jubilee, after 70 years of service to the throne. Leeds will be taking part in the nationwide celebrations for the Platinum Jubilee Central Weekend which takes place from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June.

Jubilee at Pontefract Castle

The two-day event at Pontefract Castle will take place on Thursday 2 June (2pm to 10pm) and on Friday 3 June (10am-4pm).
Thursday’s event will culminate with the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon at 9.45pm by the Mayor of Wakefield, as part of the national beacon lighting programme.
