Lotherton Hall offers a fun and varied day out for all ages with a wide variety of things to see and do.
Lotherton Hall and Gardens
The Hall: The Hall was donated to Leeds fully furnished, allowing visitors to see how people lived at the turn of the century including in the restored servants quarters. Lotherton Hall also has an extensive art collection.
Grounds and Gardens: The gardens cover 8 acres, close to the house are formal walled gardens which are steadily being restored to their former glory.
Wildlife World: Previously known as the Lotherton Hall bird gardens, the area is being adapted to home a wider varioety fo species and is transforming into Wildlife World. A wide variety fo birds are on display including a special African section and flamingoes, new residents include Humboldt penguins tapirs and capybaras.
Deer Park: See and learn about the herd of red deer in the deer hide.
Orchard: The new orchrd includes over 100 species of fruit tree.
Play Areas: the field offers and area of free ply for kite flying, ball games, frisbee or whatever takes your fancy. The children's playground offers adventure play for younger children,
Walks: There are walks of various legths through the woodland and around the boundarys of the grounds.
Special trails, crafts and events run at Lotherton Hall and Gardens throughout the school holidays and often on weekends during the summer months.

Winter opening times: Please note that the Hall is closed during January and February but offers guided tours at 11 and 2. Café, shop, bird garden: 10:00 - 16:00, last entry 15:15 Estate gates (October – March): 07:30 to 18:00:
