Nidderdale Llamas offers a truly unique and personal experience for all abilities and age groups, although children must be at least 7 years old to engage in our family experience and 10yrs and above to trek. Our llamas and alpacas are gentle, friendly and great fun to be with.

Located in the heart of the beautiful North Yorkshire village of Tockwith which is steeped in history and close to the site of the Battle of Marston Moor. Treks are daily from the farm on a circular route across fields on wide tracks and back down a quiet country lane.

Leaholm Llamas

Llamam trekking in the North York Moors. Get to know the llamas and then set off for a walk around the farm. Meet your llama companion and then once comfortable, embark on a short walk around the fields, meeting cows, pigs, sheep and chicken along the way! This trek lasts approximately 1.5hrs.

Our Alpaca walks can be tailored to suit, usually lasting about an hour in total depending on group size and ability. Alpacas make ideal companions for walking. Take a walk on the wild side in the stunning South Pennines and Calder Valley.
